Residents
Residents at our facility are participating in either a one or two year program which they begin after receiving their Bachelors of Science Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at one of a few accredited programs at universities around the country. The residents begin their time here by following and assisting a fully certified and experienced practitioner where they are encouraged to apply knowledge in the development of treatment protocols for individual patient needs and gain practical skills which reinforce information learned in school.  Residents eventually obtain their own patient load whose treatment protocols and orthoses/prostheses are under the direct supervision of their residency advisor.

Interns
Students from the University of Washington’s Orthotics and Prosthetics program intern at our facility periodically throughout the year. Their main objective is to observe practitioner/patient interaction and to get some practical hands-on experience in the field of O & P by assisting the practitioner either in the clinical or hospital setting.
